My main objective here at CHS is to promote ROP (Regional Occupational Programs) and my second objective is to promote the Career Center. If you haven't been in the Career Center, I invite you to come in to take a tour.
The Colton High School Career Center is located in room 215. Come and look at the many opportunities for students; it offers resources regarding careers, colleges, universities, apprenticeships and much more! The Career Center offers information regarding the ROP classes that are taught on and off campus.
ROP gives students the quality Career Technical Education they need to become more successful in seeking employment and even with their continuing education. ROP classes are "hands on" activities based classes that reinforce academic skills with real word applications. Students will EARN higher wages, ADVANCE to college and PROMOTE on the job.
The Career Center is open from 7AM-3:30PM Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:45 am-3:30 p.m.
